Teranet is going to begin charging $1.00 + HST for searches performed outside of Teraview via the Teranet Connect Search function, ie: searches performed using The Conveyancer/Unity.

This fee is effective as of December 6, 2021.

As of June 5, 2021, FCT has altered the product offered for Greater Sudbury to remove coverage associated with building permit and compliance matters.

These changes will not be applied to lender, condo, new construction, or commercial policies.

This is something to keep in mind, and remember to keep an eye out for other title insurance companies who may follow suit.

Its that time of year!

On November 1, 2021 Land Service Fees in Ontario are increasing. Electronic registrations will increase to a total fee of $78.79, and a Writ Search in your key enforcement office will cost $12.15.
